Summer arrived in Groningen!

Summer is here! While we celebrated the long anticipated summer in the Netherlands with a team BBQ at Julia’s place, we also said (temporary) farewell to two lab members:

Irene is going back to Spain to finish her studies - rumors have it that she might come back next year to do her MSc in Groningen. We would be super excited to have her back.

Sanne successfully applied for the very competitive Vienna BioCenter Summer School and is going to join Daniel Gerlich’s lab at the IMBA this summer. We are excited to hear about all her experiences once she is back (at which time she is going to start her MSc in Biomolecular Sciences her in Groningen).

We will miss both of you and hope to see you again soon!
