Our new aquatic facility is up and running
After the pandemic-related border closures have been lifted, the friendly installation crew from AquaSchwarz GmbH could finally make their way to Groningen in order to install our brand new aquatic system, which will be housing our colony of female Xenopus laevis in the future.
Equipped with a 24/7 digital monitoring system, a programmable automatic water exchange set up, cooling and heating, and several water filter systems, the 1000 L system (plus 500 L back-up tank) has all the features needed to become a comfortable and safe home for our frogs.
